FNP Prize

Marcin received the 2023 FNP Prize in the field of chemical and materials sciences for designing and obtaining new aromatic compounds with unique structures and properties.

The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) Prize, established in 1992, is awarded annually in four fields: life and earth sciences; chemical and materials sciences; mathematical, physical, and engineering sciences; and in humanities and social sciences. It is regarded as the most prestigious scientific award in Poland.

Award Ceremony

The award ceremony was held on December 6, 2023 in the Great Assembly Hall at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Marcin was joined by his colleagues at the Faculty of Chemistry UWr and by members of the Stępień Lab.
