Yogesh received his MSc degree for his work on the synthesis, characterization and electron-transport properties of self-assembled silver(III)-corrole nanospheres (with Dr. Sanjib Kar). His PhD work was focused on the synthesis, structures, and properties of N-confused/N-linked metallocorroles (advisor: Prof. Hiroyuki Furuta). Yogesh likes to travel and meet new people; he loves photography and is always ready to help others :)

Shiva received his PhD while working on donor-acceptor porphyrins and corroles (advisor: Dr.Giribabu Lingamallu). Presently he is working on the synthesis and characterization of π-extended chiral porphyrins. He loves traveling and playing cricket.

Sunit's PhD work was focused on the synthesis and studies of heterobenziporphyrinoids (advisor: Prof. M. Ravikanth). His current research concentrates on the synthesis of donor-acceptor oligopyrroles and their supramolecular chemistry.
Wai Shing Wong

Wai Shing received his PhD degree for his work on the synthesis and properties of saddle-shaped fenestrindane derivatives (advisor: Hak-Fun Chow). He is currently developing synthetic approaches toward novel nanobelts and organic oligoradicals. Wai Shing loves horror movies and horror games.

Rakesh received his PhD for his work on the synthesis and derivatization of N-heterocyclic compounds through C–H bond functionalization (advisor: Dr. Upendra Sharma). He is currently working on the synthesis of electric-field responsive framework materials in a collaborative project with the Volkmer group at Augsburg.

Madan's PhD work was focused on redox chemistry, conformational dynamics and diradical properties of expanded porphyrinoids (advisor: Prof V. G Anand). In the Stępień Lab, Madan is currently exploring novel open-shell nanocarbon materials. Madan is a science lover.

Bibek received his MSc degree for his work on linear oligophenylenes and attempted syntheses of cyclic nanohoop structures (with Prof. Marcin Stępień). He is currently developing new open-shell nanocarbon molecules. Bibek is interested in cultural diversity, languages, religions, and history.
Dominika Kruszewska

Dominika received her MSc degree for her work on the synthesis and reactivity of polyynes terminated with azo dyes (with Prof. Sławomir Szafert). Dominika is currently synthesizing new types of open-shell nanocarbons. She loves hiking in the mountains and would like to jump with a parachute one day.
